Wooden toys are fascinating for a child is a common knowledge. Adults, especially those with special needs, have been using them for years now. These wooden toys started gaining popularity in the early 1700’s. Toymakers began crafting various toys for children as well as adults. Door to door sales was a major way of selling these toys, and often salesmen received advance orders for special occasions and for custom made toys.
For decades, children of all ages have enjoyed wooden toys. Lately, video games and toys that require batteries or electric plug-ins have been invented. Wooden toys are traditional and old fashioned comparatively, yet they seem to entertain the young and adults alike. It is hence not surprising that they can be seen in a large majority of homes.
